After a great win against Crystal Palace last weekend, it’s now time West Ham begin to get their season going.
The Hammers went into the match with the Eagles as slight underdogs what with their previous poor form and the fact that Palace were flying but things were turned on their heads as the east Londoners came out the other side with a more than deserved three points.
The club started playing the attacking football we’d become accustomed to seeing last season and Manuel Lanzini’s goal was of a very high quality.
Then when you throw in the fact that the side were very resolute to hold onto their win even with ten men after Aaron Cresswell’s dismissal you end up with some very pleasing signs.
That will all count for nothing though if the Hammers slip up against Sunderland this weekend and so, to ensure that doesn’t happen, here are the three players from the opposition they need to stop…
