West Ham United

Bony and four other late striker options for West Ham

|

Loic Remy

With Remy out in the wilderness in the west end of London, a move across to the east side of the city may be appealing for the Frenchman. It’s somewhat forgotten that the Frenchman was a dangerous, intelligent Premier League forward before his Chelsea move, with his performances for both QPR and Newcastle having been mightily impressive. Remy made the understandable move to Chelsea in 2014 as he sought to play at the ‘next level’, but game time has been limited, and with Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi ahead of him in Antonio Conte’s pecking order, a switch away appears to make sense on the player’s part.

West Ham can offer game time and with the ex-Marseille ace able to play from a wide position, he’ll be of great use to Bilic across what will be a long campaign at the London Stadium.
