Spanish champions Barcelona have emerged as surprise suitors of West Ham target Carlos Bacca and could move for the Colombia international this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Hammers are in the market for a new centre forward and are said to have had an offer for the former Sevilla poacher accepted – with the South American star deciding whether he is interested in a move to the London Stadium before the start of the new campaign.

Reports in Italy suggest that Bacca could be set to stay put at the San Siro due to West Ham not playing Champions League football, but the latest development could also impact on his decision.

Barca are looking for a new attacker to deputise for star trio Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, with their gaze on versatile Atletico Madrid starlet Luciano Vietto.

However, should a move for the Argentine fail, the Spanish press believe bringing Bacca back to La Liga could be on the cards.
