Sunderland want West Ham United to make a decision over Diafra Sakho’s future this week and will pull their offer for the striker if the Hammers drag their feet, according to The Northern Echo.

The African attacker is believed to have fallen down Slaven Bilic’s pecking order, especially as the London club close in on a number of big-name alternatives in the transfer market.

Sam Allardyce is reportedly keen to bring Sakho to the Stadium of Light and rates the centre forward highly from their mutual time at the Hammers.

A bid in excess of £10 million is said to have been placed by the Wearsiders, with West Ham considering it currently but yet to make a decision.

However, the latest report suggests that Bilic’s men will have to decide in the next couple of days what to do with Sakho, as Allardyce wants a deal concluded before the start of Euro 2016.
