West Ham United have Arsenal duo Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in their sights, with the Hammers set to make an ambitious double swoop for the England internationals this summer according to The Express.
The Hammers are in the market for marque signings before next term to take them to the next level and put forward another challenge for the top four in 2016-17.
Both homegrown stars have proven their ability for club and country, but have found regular first-team football hard to come by at the Emirates Stadium over the last 12 months.
The report suggests that Walcott is West Ham’s priority, but that Slaven Bilic’s side would turn to Oxlade-Chamberlain should the Gunners turn back an approach.
The Hammers are expected to spend big in the transfer market this summer but whether they can convince their London rivals to part with one or both of the Englishmen remains to be seen.
