West Ham and Tottenham are set to go head-to-head in an effort to sign Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson this summer, according to The Sun.

The Hammers are in the market to improve their options in the attack, with the Boleyn Ground outfit expected to add at least one striker this summer.

Wilson started the new campaign in blistering form, scoring five goals in seven Premier League starts to have him in potential England consideration.

However, an agonising knee injury has kept the former Coventry City starlet on the sidelines for the remainder of the campaign.

With Wilson moving towards recovery and full fitness, the London rivals are eyeing up summer bids for the striker if he can prove that has no long-lasting problems.

With Diafra Sakho’s future at West Ham up in the air at the moment, the 24-year-old could well be a shrewd acquisition to replace the Senegalese star should he leave.
