Leeds United right back Sam Byram could be on his way to the Boleyn.

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham are eyeing up a move for Leeds United full back Sam Byram in the next few weeks in a bid to sure up the right back position. Byram, born in Essex, is reportedly a West Ham fan and has played 21 times in the Championship this season scoring 3 goals. He has been on the radar of many top Premier League clubs, and at only 22 would be a great signing in a position that needs strengthening if we are going to push for Europe this season. While it is only transfer gossip at the moment, if Byram is a West Ham fan then this is a move that could realistically happen as Bilic will want to improve his squad as much as possible and the youngster would bring another dimension to the right back position.

Mauro Zarate is reportedly being eyed up by La Liga side Malaga. Zarate has been useful this season, although consistency has been a problem. It would be a strange move to allow him to leave now without first securing a replacement and I’m sure that it is just gossip at the moment. It has been reported that Zarate is keen on a move, but Bilic won’t be letting anyone go without strengthening first, especially with the injury to Lanzini.

Diego Poyet is set to go out on loan to Charlton after his loan spell at MK Dons came to an end. He made 18 league appearances before MK Dons manager Karl Robinson admitted he was too similar in style to vice captain Darren Potter. According to Eurosport Robinson said, “It’s not fair on a young player to not give him many minutes and in time he will be a much better player than a lot in this league. He’s a tremendous young man.” Poyet was at Charlton since he was a schoolboy before he signed for us in 2014.

Can’t take it seriously if the grammar is flawed… sure *shore… rb position

      Hi Ian,
Shore up means to prop something up. Sure up is defined as strengthening or stabilizing. Which is what is being used in this instance.
      Cheers

Losing Mauro Zarate would be a sad and strategically unsound move. Carroll and Jelavic can not be called on to score regular goals. While Andy scored with a good header against Liverpool, both he and Jelavic are too slow and somewhat lacking in fitness. Even when Diafra Sakho returns, there must be concern about his injury prone state. Bilic will do his best to convince Zarate to stay; he has worked so hard on resurrecting this guy’s potential after being treated so poorly by BFS last year. He msu stay, at least till the end of the current season, if not longer. If he is given sufficient opportunity and support, he will prove that he is an important cog in Bilic’s squad
