West Ham star Dimitri Payet is the only outfield London-based player in the whoscored.com current team of the season.

The Frenchman has been a pivotal part of West Ham’s success so far this season. His skilful play is a real benefit for West Ham in the final third of the pitch and his work rate when defending is admirable.
In his six league appearances for the club so far, Payet has had a hand in five of West Ham’s goals. His record of three goals and two assists shows just how influential he has been for the Hammers since arriving from Marseille in the summer.
The forward’s stats reveal the impact he has made for Bilic’s side. He has played 193 passes so far this season, with 19 of those registering as key passes. Only Mesut Ozil, Eden Hazard and Santi Cazorla have registered more key passes which is unsurprising considering the amount of possession Chelsea and Arsenal have during games.
