Carroll back in training
Andy Carroll has returned to training as he closes in on a return to first team action.
After recovering from his latest setbak, a debacle that involved him hurting himself trying to put some shoes on, the striker now looks ready to return to first-team affairs.
The Liverpool game may be a step too far for Carroll but he will be aiming to return against Newcastle United on September 14th after the international break.
A statement on whufc.com stated: “Andy Carroll trained with the first-team squad on Tueday and he will continue to do so as he continues to build up his match fitness ahead of a competitive return ot action.”
It’s good news for Hammers fans as striking options have been few and far between recently, let’s hope the Geordie can stay fit when he returns.
It’s safe to say people were absolutely over the moon…
If Andy Carroll does get injured again the medical team should just run onto the pitch with their gazebo and put him out his misery.
