This talented forward could be the answer to West Ham’s striker search

Strengths

Heading

His 6’3” structure means that Jimenez is dangerous in the air. A lot of his goals come from getting on the end of accurate crosses and he has a good leap on him which makes him tower above defenders. With Dimitri Payet in midfield, crosses into the box will be accurate and Jimenez is the sort of player that can thrive off good aerial delivery.

Flair

Being a big man and having good feet is often a rarity but Jimenez seems to be one of those players that finds this balance. He has scored some superb goals in his career so far and this is clearly an advantage as the Hammers have had many forwards who have been good in the air but pretty ineffective when the ball is on the ground.

Penalties

Although West Ham have a solid amount of penalty takers, it’s important to highlight that Raul Jimenez has never missed a penalty in his senior career. He often waits for the goalkeeper to move and so far it has proved effective, scoring 12/12 penalties.
