Sports Direct News are reporting that the Hammers are considering a move for Bayern Munich’s Daniel van Buyten.
The former Manchester City player has been used sparingly by the Champions League winners, this season making only six Bundesliga starts.
The Belgium international would add a wealth of experience to the Hammers but SDN believes that Big Sam will only pursue this option should he fail in a move for Joleon Lescott.

He does need playing time looking at the world cup, but he is not first choice on the Belgian team anyway, so I don’t see him coming to WHU.
