Mohamed DiameWest Ham are preparing themselves for a bid from Liverpool for midfielder Mohamed Diame, Sports Direct News understands.

Last season, speculation surrounded the 26-year-old with Arsenal strongly linked with making a move.

All Hammers breathed a huge sigh of relief when the transfer window slammed shut and Diame’s £3.5 million release fee clause wasn’t triggered.

It is believed Liverpool gaffer Brendan Rodgers views Diame as a long-term replacement for Steven Gerrard.

How big of a blow would it be if Diame were to be sold?

His release cause is not 3.5mill it’s actually 7mill this was established last year!

Replacement for Gerard, I can’t stop laughing, this is a joke right?

Great news. The bloke has been a passenger this season. One trick pony with no real heart and soul. Cheerio !

Good take Nolan With him waste of space bring parker back

  • Danielson says:

Hes played like he wants to leave so let him go. No point paying someone a wage to just turn up and not perform.

  • Dave says:

Shame, but he is after the money after all. probably got the hump he turned down 60k a week with us last year.
Replacement for Gerrard, don’t make me laugh, mind you at least he tries to tackle, he is the only one to put a tackle in for the last month, probably becuase he can’t be bothered to track back.
7m would be handy though, it can pay off some of the loss in the championship, as no one wants to sign for us.
Can we chuck iin Jarvis , miaga , cole (both), Nolan and a few others. 3.5m would be good for the lot.

If Players do not want to stay then Shut the Door on the Way Out.

Diame when he plays well is a match winner. Some say he hasn’t played well for a time but not many of the first team have. Wins breed confidence for all players he is simply struggling with confidence. When he plays well he’s unplayable. Don’t want to lose him. In my opinion.

Not a great loss at all. Flatters to deceive. He is disinterested most of the time. Runs down blind alleys, loses the ball and just stands there

One decent game in 10 is no good to us

  • Nathan says:

    Will drive him there
    Over rated
    Loses ball in dangerous areas
    Doesn’t chase back
The only fans that rate hin only see his one wonder goal from 50 attempts
Get some bite back in the middle

  • Chango says:

    NOOO not him for LFC

  • Roythered says:

Right area, wrong man, fuck off Rodgers.

  • razor says:

yep overrated and hope he sells for more than four mill and we give back some overrated players like they gave us. We need a heart and stamina and pacy midfielder that doesn’t lose the ball going forward time and time again.IMO.

Lol anyone would think you were forced to take those players but clearly that’s far from the truth!! You came calling & agreed to pay the transfer fees stated at the time so if you have something to say it should be addressed to the pie eater you call your manager & your club directors. Anything else is just sour grapes!!

Last year I would have said NO WAY! to good to lose, but this year he has been poor (as bad as the rest of the squad). Thought he may be a Yaya Toure type of player but the Man City game showed the class difference between the two.
