Kudos to Sam Allardyce

|

Big SamKudos to Big Sam, when Hammers the world over saw the line-up against Fulham I think it’s fair to say we would’ve rather seen Carlton Cole and Ravel Morrison in place of the much maligned duo of Modibo Maiga and Kevin Nolan; but we ran out 3-0 winners so Sam must take the plaudits.

We’re now three points clear of the drop zone and have a very winnable fixture looming against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night; a game if we win could see us rise to the dizzying heights of 11th achieved under Sam and one can’t help but feel we won’t get a better chance of redressing  this imbalance than against a Palace side bottom of the league and devoid of the kind of quality a side needs to compete at this level.

Its sacking season and before the win in the wonderfully titled ‘P45 derby’ many Hammers were calling for Sam’s head; I must admit I found this a little perplexing; the main problem West Ham have encountered this season is a lack of goals caused by the fact that the club plundered 16 odd million on a striker who’s been injured all season, a new manager would inherit the exact same problem, so what would be the point of a change?

I’m going to make a bold albeit rather obvious prediction…in January Sam will be backed by the powers that be; bring in a couple of strikers as well as get Andy Carroll back from injury and we’ll be fine.

Those that want Sam out I feel fail to realise that if he hadn’t come in and got us promoted at the first time of asking we could easily right now be a mid-table Championship club.

The league below is littered with clubs that never made back; clubs like Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Middlesbrough, Leeds United, Watford and Birmingham City who actually went down with us back in 2010/11 and who currently sit 19th

Southampton are very much the exception to the rule; at the time the sacking of Nigel Adkins seemed ridiculous but it was the right move as Mauricio Pochettino has taken them to a whole new level, I somehow can’t see us sacking Big Sam and a similar kind of revolution occurring.

In the incredibly fickle world of football a win against Palace on Tuesday night and all of sudden Sam will be a decent manager again, fail to win and suddenly the man who got us promoted and kept us up last season will be deemed useless.

Who’d be a football manager eh?

I’ve had enough, it’s up one week, down the next. Sam has changed a winning team, with not 1, 2 or 3 changes, no, 4 changes to a winning team + the Palace goal scorer was left completely unmarked. With all of Sam’s changes, it’s no wonder confusion prevailed in defense. After 52, yes 52 Premier League games without a lousy couple of wins on the bounce, it really is BFS’s time to go. He focuses too much on what the opposition are doing without giving credit to our winning team, not allowing a momentum to build. Sack him now!

Oh to win 2 games in a row. West Ham were the only Premier League club not to have done that last season. Reading, Wigan & QPR all won at least 2 in a row. Even Chris Hughton achieved that on the weekend just gone. Wishful thinking under this manager. Palace are a pack of shite & we couldn’t even beat them. Why take 4, that’s right not 1, 2 or 3 but 4 players out of a winning team? And why replace Carlton Cole with Miaga? And Demel was left out and Chamakh was left totally unmarked. Palace were no threat until that moment. Their goal came out of nothing, but in fact the Palace goalie faced nothing in serious threats. Sack this BFS before West Ham become nothing. Oh I forgot, he is waiting for his saviour being his darling Andy to return, ffs it’s almost all over now!!! Furthermore, I have never ever known a West ham team who couldn’t at least knock a couple of consecutive wins together!

Let’s be realistic. Anyone of 18 other teams could have whipped Fulham on Saturday. Beating Fulham was no big achievement, and beating Crystal Palace was no big task either. Now the team is really up against it going to Anfield on Saturday. The grim reality is really here & now thanks to BFS and his bloody stupid team selections and tactics. West Ham made 4 changes to a winning team. If changes were to be made then he should have brought in 4 new faces to the club in the form of loan signings after the total capitulation at piss weak Norwich. I mean people pay around 50 pounds to watch this load of rubbish while the owners save money in not signing players. Why pay to watch this if this is all they serve up for your money?? And this lot hope to move into an Olympic stadium that they cannot own while their own ground gets sold? Come on, West Ham look headed for oblivion. Wake up folks!

After this load of rubbish, I don’t even want to pay for TV telecasts let alone go to the matches! Take your hands off of our club you undertakers!

You don’t make 4 changes to a winning team. Now get on your bike!
& the owners already appear to have been busy negotiating a replacement?(see link)
