FIVE loan suggestions for West Ham to consider

Romelu LukakuIt has been widely reported that West Ham have contacted the top 5 clubs in the Premier League and asked them to create a list of all the players that would be available to take on loan. So here is five suggestions that I would like to see West Ham attempt to sign on loan.

I would be over the moon if we managed to get Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea. Could you imagine having Carroll up front with the option to bring on Lukaku. However, Lukaku has come out and said that at this current moment in time, he is fully focused on Chelsea but he has also said that football is football and anything can happen. Plus I would imagine that Lukaku would prefer to stay in London. It’s something that could happen near the end of the window.

Another player I would happily take on loan from Chelsea is Demba Ba. He hasn’t reached his potential at Chelsea compared to what he achieved at Newcastle when he was scoring for fun. A lot of West Ham fans turned against Ba when he left but I couldn’t imagine that many of them would say ‘no’ if he was offered to West Ham.

Clint Dempsey is a player that I would take on loan. I have a mate who is a Tottenham fan and he says that he is so frustrating to watch because he doesn’t do much throughout the game but then pops up with a vital goal and I think that’s the sort of player West Ham required. They need someone who knows where the goal is and can come up with the goods when you need them most.

I would have Scott Parker back at West Ham. Like Ba, many people have held a grudge against Parker because he left West Ham and signed for Tottenham but he did it because his Dad told him, just before he died, that it was his wish for his son to play for Tottenham. So can you blame him? But moving on, you can’t deny he’s a great player and with Tottenham having so many midfielders, he could certainly be up for loan.

Finally, I would like to see Andros Townsend on loan at West Ham. We lack pace in our side and having him down the right and Jarvis on the left would be good. Plus Townsend can score a few goals when cutting in onto his left from the right hand side. Townsend played well whilst he was on loan at QPR and he can only benefit from having someone like Carroll to cross a ball into.

    How about;
Scott Sinclair down the right, Man city will let him out. He was really good when he went to Man City, didn’t get a look in.
I think Chris Eagles would also be one to go after on the right. I like him, he’s given us the run around every time we have played them and he’s now grown up and looks stronger.
I think we still need another forward, so if we are playing hoof ball llike last year, why not crouch, although I would give anything for some pace up front so we can turn a defence we play away from home.
    Agree – Demba Ba.
Maybe even Lambert from Southampton now that they are turning to an all foreign team.
    Just a few ideas.

morata from real madrid would be a good option
be interesting to see how moyes views valencia at manu?
    1 of liverpools 3 good right backs-johnson,kelly,wisdom?
    moses from chelsea?
    sinclair or rodwell from city?
andros townsend id prefer a 5mill bid for,as i would with sinclair
i dare say there could be some big names available later in summer as none of the top teams have really gotten into the window yet, although city are starting to make a few splashes

Is this a joke…?? If Clint Dempsey is a player who does nothing and pops up with vital goals then we have a very similar player, our captain. I’d replace Nolan with a player who pops up with vital goals who also contributes in the game..!!

No loans, why the heck should we train another club’s player? In fact the loan system should either be eradicated or radically overhauled. Here’s a thought, let’s buy the best players we can afford and then put a competitive team together that is made up of our players, whose development will benefit us for an extended period of time.

i stopped reading when you admitted to having a mate who’s a Tottenham fan

hahahaha “a mate who is a Tottenham fan” that’s the trouble with these journalists they don’t know what it’s like to be a real fan………… might as well say I’ve a mate who’s a Millwall fan.

      Lol

  • Stan says:

Hmmmmm,a spurs mate and you consider spurs as a top 5 club, that’s worrying

  • Glen says:

Gary hooper Jamie Forrest aiden mgeady

  • Ian says:

Only one loan signing for me, Raheem Sterling.

  • Gunnar Emil Árnason says:

Lukaku or Ba no qeustion about it, Parker is no striker but always welcome back i belive, but we need striker.

  • Jack says:

Why get loaneis I understand lukaku and ba but the rest I don’t get

  • johnnytomo says:

Townsend is the only one I agree with. Lukaku will stay and Chelsea, I don’t think Ba will fit into out system, I have never rated Parker he passes backwards and when he does pass forward its poor and then everyone thinks he’s great because he tackles and gets it back if he didn’t play such a pony pass in the first place he wouldn’t need to tackle and Dempsey well that’s exactly what laxy Nolan does and he aint getting dropped EVER

  • Alfie says:

    No loans just buy

    • Jack says:

Townsend yes, but I’m fed up of west ham loaning people, why not buy for Christ sake

  • Richard Nott says:

I would love to have Romelu Lukaku, Clint Dempsey, Andros Townsend and Former Players like Scott Parker and Demba Ba on loan at Upton Park aswell.

  • Mitch says:

I think any of Townsend, Moses, Sinclair on loan would be great signings, need pace down the wing with Jarvis!

Also need a striker but need to buy one not loan – possibly bent, jelavic or maybe ba if we can afford!
