Lets surprise them

|

West Ham have a problem: The strikers are not scoring. The only one who has scored is Modibo Maiga, and he has yet to start in the Premier League but Manchester City have problems too.

It is almost certain they are going to be eliminated from the Champions League, which is not going to please their owners. There is also apparent tension within their camp too with players complaining about Roberto Mancini’s formations.

But you can imagine what Mancini’s war cry is going to be this week. All we have to do boys is stand up to the long balls they are going to lob into the box and make sure Andy Carroll doesn’t get on the end of one.

As long as we stop that, we can help ourselves to goals and get the confidence flooding back.

Ever dreamt about getting paid for reading about West Ham? Well now you can make dreams a reality http://bit.ly/ffc-foreverwestham-lp

So my idea would be to completely change tactics and try to bamboozle them on the day. My idea is to play Maiga in the middle, Rob Hall on the right and Matthew Jarvis on the left.

This idea is based on speed, so when the midfield get the ball, they would have to look up and try to play it through any gaps for either Maiga, Jarvis or Hall to run on to, whilst the other two bomb into the box waiting for the cross. Kevin Nolan would also break forward waiting for secondary balls.

I have no idea if this would work or not, but Sam Allardyce cannot just send the team out to lump ball after ball to Carroll because we could get annihilated.

  • We will probably start with two goalkeepers (have we still got two) and six across the back with three in midfield. Anyone wanting to go forward will have to wave at Big Sam to get permission before crossing the half way line.

Having looked at the man city results so far, they have drawn or won by only 1 goal in most of there away games, this has given me much more hope we could get a draw from this game or if we get a bit of luck on the day a sneaky win I predict 1-1 ……..
