We’ve had Kanoute, now get ready for Konate!

|

Rumours are rife that Senegalese striker Moussa Konate is set to join the Hammers before the start of the season.

The 19 year old has had an impressive Olympic campaign with Senegal, scoring 5 times in 4 appearances in the competition.

The fastest growing Hammers website is now on Facebook, click the link to be entered into our up and coming competitions http://www.facebook.com/pages/ForeverWestHamcom/200938616608282

He currently plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv FC, but it isthought that he is making the most of his time in Great Britain and is tryingto negotiate a deal to the Premier League.

He revealed that he would like to join West Ham, saying: “There is talk of interest from West Ham and that would make me very happy.”

Looking for experience? Just want to be heard outside of the Boleyn? We are currently looking for writers, drop us an email at foreverwestham@snack-media.com for more details

However, he also added how he would love a move to the Premier League so he may not be too fussy on where he ends up!

There are also rumours that Newcastle United are going head to head with us to get his signature, as well as Fulham, and even Manchester City, whoaren’t exactly short of firepower, have shown interest.

What do you think? Should we even be trying to get anotherstriker in, or should we be focussing on bolstering our defence further? Tweetme at @alwaysintune to let me know.

Ever dreamt about getting paid for reading about West Ham? Well now you can make dreams a reality http://bit.ly/ffc-foreverwestham-lp

A buy for the future and he can not possibly be worse than Cole . Only Heskey has lived a more charmed life . Can’t control the ball , can’t run , can’t pass the ball and just about gets double figures in championship . Get rid ..we might even get £1/2M for him cos there are some mugs out there … other than us !!!

    • The Cat says:

Same critical (“Deluded”) idiots who know nothing about football. Cole has happened to be top scorer for the last 3 out 4 seasons, so it shows how much you know! Engage your brain first bubbles…Pah!

Yes Konate is welcomed! He’s young, put in some good performances, looks hungry and has an eye for goal…. sign him up!

      • Hammersam says:

Your off your nut ! He scored 15 in the championship! Hardly a miracle worker Vaz te got 24 or something with half the season at barnsley! If Lambert played for WHU and Cole at saints! Who do you think would have got automatic spot!

Cole is not good wnough simples

        • The Cat says:

Another deluded soul, it’s always Cole that has to OR should make way for someone/Anyone else.

You lot have the memories of GOLDFISH and the football knowledge of ameoba’s!

      • Top scorer of a team that doesn’t score enough goals means nothing

  • wes c says:

Cat , are you Carlton Coles brother ??? I love the way he tries but sorry mate he’s terrible !!!! Do you seriously think he will score enough goals for us in the premiership !! And trust me I know loads about football !!!

  • James says:

Rather have Cole than Kontlate who takes 30 appearances to score 5 goals in Israel

  • James says:

    *Konate* stupid phone…

  • The Cat says:

If anyone on here has better knowledge and understanding on football, of successive managers he has playerd under and include a couple of England managers amongst them, do let me know.
If NOT bow to greater knowledge and understanding of the game.

  • Just thought I would put it out there, no matter what anyone says! Unless you played for Di Canio, I win as I have played for Tony Cottee’s football academy *Grins”

  • Geoff says:

Stop putting Cole down, he is one of our most important players who’s all round game has improved a lot last season and i personally would love to see him end his career with the club. Loyal and gives his all. I agree that is doubters have short memories, a goal and an assist in the play-off final so you could say without him we wouldn’t have been promoted! Of course i would love a 20-25 goals a season striker but not at the expense of Cole. The FACT is were not going to attract that sort of striker this season and i really hope that the big man makes all of you doubters eat your words this season by producing his most prolific campaign yet for the club. Always believe in!!!!…..

  • irons says:

CC is more than a goal Scorer, I agree he should score more but at times his overall play is right up there near the top!!! If not he wouldn’t still be in a premier league squad & played for England.
He has seen off a number of players trying to take his place. Not all of our managers have been mugs, his goals helped us to promotion & he will help us stay in the Prem.
Just stop expecting 30+ goals a season out of him & get behind the lad.

  • Western hammer says:

Vaz Te’s goal at Wembley wouldn’t of happened without Coles hard work and amazing effort and for that I will always believe in Cole. And so should u other so called supporters!
