Am I the only one who’s concerned about the fact that Green hasn’t signed a new contract with us yet? Apparently not, as Jack Collison has even come out and said how desperate he is for Greeno to put pen to paper.

But the question is, why hasn’t he already signed? He’s been picked for England again, so if he was worried about not being selected in the Championship, that’s not a concern anymore. Plus, I have full faith we’ll be going up at first attempt so that shouldn’t be a stumbling block.
Plus, I just don’t think he’ll find another club that show him as much support as our fans do. We kept behind him after his high profile error at the World Cup, and he always acknowledges the fans. I really hope he’s not leaving; he’s world class and I think he has had a really good relationship with both the club and fans.
Collison said: “Greeny has been a massive part of the team and he’s a world-class keeper, there’s no doubt about that.”

“Some of the saves he makes are just unbelievable but you can see from how hard he works, he gives the team confidence to go and play.
“It would be nice to get him pinned down. I might have to start having a couple of words with him and give him a few rib shots to get him to sign.
“He has been brilliant for us this season and long may it continue.”

Hope he stays, I remember Greeno in his Norwich days and he stayed loyal for a long time, if you go up he’ll definitely stay!
