West Ham United have again been linked with versatile midfielder Adem Ljajic, with Calcio Mercato stating that the Hammers will go toe-to-toe with Borussia Dortmund and Southampton this summer for the playmaker’s signature.
The Serbia international has starred in Italian football since 2010, firstly for Fiorentina before making a move to Roma.
Ljajic has spent this term on loan at Inter Milan, but is not expected to pen a permanent deal with the Nerazzurri this summer.
As Roma are blessed with an array of creative talent in their squad, the 24-year-old is being linked with a move away from Serie A and a potential switch to England.
Ljajic has a reputation given his questionable temperament and was embroiled in a clash with former Fiorentina boss Delio Rossi after being substituted.
However, on his day the young attacking midfielder is an exceptional talent that can change games single-handedly.
