Mark Noble has had his red card against Liverpool rescinded which now means the midfielder is clear to play against Newcastle United.

Noble performed excellently for the Hammers against Brendan Rodgers’ side. He took his goal brilliantly and was as committed as ever in the middle of the park before he was wrongfully dismissed by Kevin Friend, who seemed to brandish the card quicker than Dynamo.

Replays showed that Noble’s studs were facing down when the midfielder poked the ball away from Danny Ings. The striker seemed to react painfully to the challenge and the Anfield crowd protested which clearly didn’t help Noble’s cause.

The decision to rescind the card was revealed earlier today and David Gold took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the matter:

The positive news comes after a very successful transfer deadline day in which the likes of Alex Song, Victor Moses, Nikica Jelavic and Michail Antonio signed for the Hammers before the 6pm deadline.

Mark Noble has been in excellent form so far this season and Bilic will be encouraged by the news that the midfielder is now available for selection. There is also time for Andy Carroll and Mauro Zarate to return to full fitness as West Ham’s options up front improve due to the timing of the international break.
