PIERRE HOJBJERG (19 years old, 6ft 1”, Central Midfield, Bayern Munich & Denmark)
A playmaker with great technical ability and a great delivery at set-pieces. Tall, strong and dynamic, whose versatility to play anywhere in midfield makes him an excellent squad member, Hojbjerg is highly thought of by most people at Bayern Munich and has made 17 Bundesliga appearances for the club.
However, he was sent out on a very successful loan last season to Augsburg, where he revealed that he didn’t see eye to eye with Bayern manager Pep Guardiola. The Danish international is almost certain to go out on loan again this term, with Augsburg keen to take the youngster for another season but surely a short-term move to the Premier League could tempt him. He would provide us with excellent options.
