There was a perhaps surprising name on the teamsheet on Tuesday evening as the U23s took on Derby County in the quarter-finals of the Premier League International Cup – Andriy Yarmolenko.
Our U23s are in action in the Premier League International Cup quarter-finals tonight. 💪

And as you will see below, fellow West Ham fans have been getting excited about his return to action.
We haven’t seen the 30-year-old for around three months after he tore his abductor muscle, but he got a successful 90-minute run-out at Pride Park.
He had a big role to play as well, helping to set up the two goals as Dmitri Halajko’s men raced ahead inside the first ten minutes before being pulled back by former Hammer Jahmal Hector-Ingram.
Jordan Brown leveled the scores early in the second half for the hosts before Bernardo Rosa restored our advantage, only for Hector-Ingram to level once more.
But we would have the last laugh and progress to the semi-finals on penalties after extra-time…
