When 17-year-old striker Kai Corbett turned up at Man United a couple of weeks ago, you would have been forgiven for thinking that the club had let another of their promising young talents leave.
However, pictures from U18 star Mipo Odubeko’s Instagram story have revealed that Corbett is now back in east London and his United adventure appears to be over.
This was backed up by ExWHUemployee last Thursday, who confirmed that his time at Old Trafford was only a trial and Solskjaer’s men didn’t believe he was worth the compensation that would have to be paid to get him away from Chadwell Heath on a permanent basis.
It’s a wonder why considering the fact that he netted from the bench on his debut for their U18s, but good news for us and we could well make them regret that decision.
Here’s the best reactive Tweets to Corbett’s return after seemingly leaving for good…
We should tell him to do one
