Loads of fans on Twitter don’t know what to think after Sam Inkersole of Football.London posted a strange West Ham prediction for five years’ time.
Inkersole attempted to pre-empt the starting Xl, manager and some squad members for the opening day of the 2025/2026 season.
He suggested that we would have France U21 shot-stopper Alban Lafont between the sticks, with a back four of Jeremy Ngakia, Ajibola Alese, Issa Diop and Raphael Guerreiro and a midfield of Abdoulaye Toure, Tomas Soucek and Pablo Fornals with Nathan Holland and Jarrod Bowen on the wings, supporting Xande Silva up top.
The journo also foretold that Niko Kovac would be in charge with Kevin Nolan and Nobes as assistant, we’d still be in the Premier League, Grady Diangana would go to Barcelona for £60m and Rice to Man United for £100m, with Haller going to Borussia Dortmund for £40m in 2022 and Anderson to Liverpool the year before and much more.
Here’s the pick of the Tweets on Inkersole’s odd crystal ball moment…
🤣 I cant decide whether the least likely thing is, Diop becoming Elite or anyone paying more than a £5m for Haller

Amadou Diallo might have something to do with this story.

Very good until the Grady to Barcelona bit, never gonna happen, would be twice that much 😂

Some good and bad things, I’m assuming given the shoddy transfer work and lack of promising talent bought in that GSB have stuck around, so we still have just one scout, searching FM 2025 to make sure Sullivan’s mates are selling him actual footballers and not newgens.

A lot of wishful thinking. Some not far from the truth.

That’s a lot of academy products in the first team. Would be lovely, but can’t see it happening. Unless we’re league 1 😂

£10m for Masuaku!

What makes you think we’ll still be a Premier League side in 2025? I don’t even think we’ll be one next season, under the current ownership and management

Wildly optimistic especially Moyes keeping us up – he laughed
