He may have returned from his latest injury set-back over the festive period, but you would be forgiven for thinking Manuel Lanzini was still missing for West Ham.
The Lanzini we all know and love is, anyway, and fans on Twitter have been pining over a video his former self, featuring some old highlights.

Last Saturday’s absent performance was just his latest not to yield a goal or an assist that we can hold onto in the hope that Lanzini might one day return to being the player he once was.
The out-of-form 26-year-old hasn’t set up a goal since early November and you’d have to go back to the end of last season for his last strike.
Yes, he’s had some horrible injuries but he just doesn’t look the same and supporters know it, with one even stating that they would like to see him moved on in the summer.
