Lots of fans on Twitter are ecstatic after an announcement from the club this Monday, the one we’ve all been waiting for, Roberto’s exit.

Before you get too excited, it’s only a loan to Alaves until the end of the season and he remains contracted to the club until the summer of 2021.

But after ten appearances in all competitions, no clean sheets, 22 goals conceded, just one win, seven defeats and two draws, any kind of exit for the 33-year-old was always going to be welcomed by supporters.

One of them stated that they’d always loved Mondays with one more thanking god and proclaiming Roberto was the worst goalkeeper they’d ever seen and another simply stating “Halleluja.”

Highlights from the Spaniard‘s time in east London will include punching the ball into his own net at Burnley and jumping out the way of a Son Heung-min shot.
