West Ham United attacker Grady Diangana has labelled his loan spell at West Brom as amazing.
The exciting winger has claimed that he is learning every single week in the Championship, and is happy that Manuel Pellegrini is allowing him the chance to stay at the Hawthorns this season.
Diangana admitted that he believes he can make it at the London Stadium in the future and that former Hammer Slaven Bilic is helping improve his game.
“For me it was amazing,” he told the official club website.
“I definitely want to make it at West Ham, long term.”
The 21-year-old has already been involved in eight goals in his 14 Championship appearances, after only making six starts under Pellegrini last season.
OPINION
Pellegrini definitely made the right decision in allowing the winger to stay at the Hawthorns this season. The 21-year-old has been incredible this campaign in the Championship, and the exposure to weekly football has only seen him improve under Bilic. The Hammers are bound to reap the benefits of the loan spell next season when Diangana returns to East London, and he will have the added determination to make it work this time around. The Baggies’ hitman has averaged 1.8 key passes as well as 1.6 shots on goal per game according to WhoScored, proving that he is capable of scoring himself as well as creating numerous opportunities for his teammates. Should Diangana have been recalled he wouldn’t have been guaranteed playing time this season and the player himself clearly agrees with his club’s stance as they approach the midway point of the season for both clubs.
