Manuel Pellegrini is increasingly attracted at the decision to potentially recall Grady Diangana from his loan spell at West Brom in January, according to Football Insider.
The reputable football outlet claim that the Hammers could use the clause in the loan deal with Pellegrini impressed by extensive reports he has been receiving from The Hawthorns this season.
Football Insider report that the Chilean views Diangana as a genuine attacking option in the second half of the season, with his current attacking players struggling in the final third.
The 21-year-old has already been involved in seven goals in his 12 appearances so far in the Championship this season.
OPINION
Should the likes of Felipe Anderson continue to struggle in the final third for the Hammers between now and January, it would be the perfect time to recall Diangana to the London Stadium. The 21-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Baggies this season and was unlucky to be shipped out on loan in the first place after making his breakthrough in the last Premier League campaign. Slaven Bilic has definitely got the best out of the winger this season, and he would come back to East London a much better player if recalled and add something Pellegrini’s side is crying out for. With the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini in behind Sebastien Haller, there isn’t much pace in the final third. Diangana would bring that and more to the table and should he continue to scare opposition defences in the Championship, Pellegrini must take action and bring him back in January.
