OPINION
West Ham United goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski produced another sublime performance in his side’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday. The Poland international has undoubtedly been one of the signings of the season in the entire Premier League, and he showed just why against Mauricio Pochettino’s side. As expected, Spurs had the majority of the play on Saturday and had a fair few chances, but Fabianski always looked more than capable of dealing with whatever the hosts threw at him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Particularly in the first half, he was all that really stood between the Hammers and a big half time deficit. He made a number of important saves, from the likes of Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen, and looked assured in everything he did. As one supporter said, he is surely the Hammer of the Year by an absolute country mile. Declan Rice has been great, but not even he can match the phenomenal consistency of the West Ham number one.
