Collymore predicts West Ham v Man United

|

Stan Collymore has predicted that West Ham United will suffer their third successive defeat to Manchester United when the two sides face off at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The former Liverpool forward shared his prediction for the Hammers’ upcoming clash with the Red Devils via his personal Twitter account when guessing the next set of Premier League fixtures, and he thinks that West Ham will be on the end of a 2-1 loss.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be hoping that they can return to winning ways after defeats to Everton and Chelsea, while United will also be hoping to avenge the 2-1 loss to Wolves a couple of weeks ago.

OPINION

West Ham are stuck in a bit of a rut at the moment, and they will need to start digging themselves out of it sooner rather than later. However, if Collymore’s prediction is anything to go by, that is not going to happen any time soon. To be honest though, it is hard not to agree with him after the form that the Irons have been in recently. They just cannot seem to string a win together lately, and that must be worrying for Pellegrini in terms of them wanting to qualify for Europe next season. That being said, Marko Arnautovic looked promising in the second half on Monday, so hopefully he can build upon that and give West Ham the win they so desperately need. That win, however, does not look like it is going to happen away from home on Saturday – Old Trafford can be a very difficult place to go and win.
