Karren Brady shared she was proud of the work West Ham was doing after the club’s official Twitter account released a video about equality.

The Hammers’ official Twitter account tweeted: “Equality is at the heart of everything we do. We are West Ham. United.” alongside a video featuring first-team stars such as Declan Rice and Mark Noble, to highlight the work the club had done within the community.

Brady herself did feature in the video and issued a six-word message soon after it was tweeted to make her pride about the club’s work known.

“So proud of what we do,” tweeted Brady via her personal Twitter account.

OPINION

The Hammers video is worth a watch for fans as not only does it show the level of work the club do in the community, it highlights the club stands for equality. While every club should have, and likely does have similar principals, it was still a positive video to see released by the Hammers. This is especially the case when there has been a lot of talk about the issues in football regarding diversity recently, after the England team had to contend with racism from a section of fans while facing Montenegro. Aside from the fact it is good to see Hammers promote such a positive campaigns and continue to work with the community, it’s interesting that Brady opted to tweet about it. The Hammers vice chairman rarely directly tweets about matters involving the London club, so the fact she took the time, shows how important the work the club are doing in the community is to her.
