OPINION

It is no surprise to see that West Ham are interested in Doucoure, with several Premier League sides linked with a swoop for the 26-year-old in recent months. The midfield destroyer has been mightily impressive for the Hornets across the past two seasons, and that kind of form has caught the eye of some top clubs. PSG are another club obviously interested in the Frenchman, and it would not be a surprise to see him make a move to a bigger club in the near future. You would think however that the chances of West Ham winning the race for his signature are slim. First of all, Watford are actually performing much better than the Hammers in the league this season, and Doucoure will not likely want to take a step which he may see as downwards. Secondly, the calibre of competition that is likely for his signature will likely be too high, especially if PSG make their move.
