West Ham have improved valiantly under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini this season and have plenty of positives to take from the campaign so far, despite struggling to find consistency at times.
The Hammers secured a vital three points on Saturday against Newcastle United, returning from Tyneside with a comfortable 3-0 victory that provides a solid platform to build upon during the busy festive season that lies ahead.
Amongst the highlights so far this season has been the rejuvenation of Scotland international Robert Snodgrass, who was signed in January 2017 but quickly became an outcast at the London Stadium and spent last season on loan with Aston Villa.
However, Snodgrass has found a new lease of life during Pellegrini’s reign and is an important asset in the squad but, despite his experience, he felt the pressure during a crazy snooker match against some of his West Ham teammates.
Snodgrass teamed up with Javier Hernandez and snooker legend John Parrott to tackle Marko Arnautovic, Mark Noble and six-time snooker world champion Steve Davis in an epic battle that featured superb trick shots and hilarious misses.
