Many West Ham supporters on social media heaped praise on attacker Grady Diangana for his performance in the 4-2 victory over Burnley on Saturday.

The 20-year-old winger started the game for the Hammers against Burnley and supporters were quick to praise the youngster for his performance during the match.

One Hammers fan tweeted that Diangana was a “baller” as he was so quick and direct while another claimed the 20-year-old was going to be some player in the future given his age.

COMMENTARY

Diangana is a live wire and Hammers fans are right to praise the youngster for his latest display. The 20-year-old showed no fear as he tried to take the game to Burnley and his efforts should have seen him win a penalty for his side in the first half. While the referee wrongly refused to point to the spot on that occasion, Hammers fans no doubt know that the winger’s energetic display should have seen one awarded. Hopefully the 20-year-old is able to continuing excelling as he has been a surprise package this season. Diangana wasn’t really being tipped to have a breakthrough season but that’s exactly what is happening. While several fans below look to the future when praising the starlet, it’s worth noting he is taking his chance to shine now and won’t give up his first-team status easily. Pellegrini may see his midfield options increase in January but it’s hard to see the Hammers manager not keeping the faith in Diangana if his form continues.
