A section of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to bring back former manager Slaven Bilic.
Th 50-year-old was sacked by the Hammers last season after being appointed by the club back in June 2015 after playing 54 times as a player during the late 1990s.

OPINION
Even though Bilic almost got the club relegated during his spell as manager, it seems like the dust has settled for the West Ham fans. However, they could be reacting this way due to the poor form under current boss Manuel Pellegrini. Sometimes, fans only call for the return of an old manager when their current one is not doing well. Nevertheless, it is evident that many of them have forgotten the past and forgiven him despite almost leading the Irons to the Championship. However, if West Ham continue with the form that they are in now, then they may be resigned to that very fate. Not many supporters would urge their club to bring back an old boss who almost got them relegated, but this case is different – and many of the West Ham faithful would arguably want to see anyone else in charge apart from Manuel Pellegrini.
