Ever since the club splashed the cash this summer on ten signings, West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini does not need to worry about a lack of talent within the side.

This is why he must bin one of the club’s young players, Reece Oxford, as he does not contribute anything positive to the squad.

On the West Ham Way podcast broadcast on Wednesday evening (starting at 31:50), club insider ExWHUemployee – who is a reliable source of news on the Hammers – revealed that Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers have offered to take the centre-back on loan, whilst Bundesliga club RB Leipzig sent scouts to watch him in a youth match earlier this week.

However, Bolton reportedly only want to pay 70 per cent of the 6’2″ [Transfermarkt] enforcer’s salary, which is proving to be a problem in offloading the youngster.

Even though the Hammers extended his contract until 2021, it is paramount that he leaves the club soon after claims by the club insider.

They told the podcast: “The problem you’ve got is you’ve got a 19-year-old on £20,000-a-week with not the greatest of attitudes, with an agent that demands a lot of money. No-one wants to buy him, so the only option is a loan.”

Having a player who is only 19-years-old and stinks of bad attitude is not someone that the Irons should be wanting to keep on the books any longer.

At that age, it should be more about working hard to get regular game time – but he evidently has an agent in his ear who is telling him that he is a greater player than he actually is, which has tainted his vision as to what he really wants out of his career.

Pellegrini has signed the likes of Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena to cover the centre-back position, and he also has Angelo Ogbonna to call upon as well.

With limited first team chances on the horizon combined with a bad attitude, now could not be a better time for the Irons to bin the rarely-used defender and concentrate on their season.
