West Ham United will look to get their Premier League campaign up and running with a positive result against Wolves on Saturday, and Manuel Pellegrini must make several changes to the team that beat Wimbledon in the League Cup on Wednesday.

The Hammers earned their first win of the Pellegrini era with a hard-fought comeback against the League One minnows, and will now hope to carry that momentum into this weekend’s clash with newcomers Wolves.

It was a much-changed side that took on the Dons from the start on Tuesday, and Pellegrini must now find a balance between those who impressed and those who were rested.

In goal, Lukasz Fabianski must replace Adrian, with the Pole impressing despite their three losses in the league so far.

In defence, Pellegrini must make one change only, with Pablo Zabaleta dropping out for Ryan Fredericks, while Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell keep their places.

In the middle of the park, Declan Rice must be axed with Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez starting, as Pedro Obiang drops to the bench alongside Lucas Perez.

And finally, in attack, Andriy Yarmolenko must retain his place on the right, with Marko Arnautovic replacing Javier Hernandez up front, while Robert Snodgrass should occupy the left flank with Felipe Anderson tucked in behind.

All in all this means Pellegrini must make six changes to the side that beat Wimbledon, with £17.5million dazzler Yarmolenko [Independent] set for a test of his credentials after a stinker against the Dons.
