West Ham are expected to complete the signings of Arsenal striker Lucas Perez and Fiorentina midfielder Carlos Sanchez before the transfer deadline on Thursday, according to a club insider.
ExWHUemployee, an established source for reliable and exclusive insider Hammers news, reported on Twitter on Tuesday morning that the two deals were both expected to be completed soon.
It is said that these two deals will be the final signings of the summer for West Ham, who would have brought in nine players in total for a sum approaching £100million.
At this point both Perez and Carlos Sanchez are expected to join the club before the window closes and that would conclude our transfers in. Bernard looks to be moving elsewhere now though ⚒

Well it is harder to get info out here but Perez is someone I’ve known us chasing for a long time and according to a good source the rumours are correct on Sanchez https://t.co/1z2ovhWg7W

OPINION
The signing of Perez will be a shrewd one from Manuel Pellegrini, who has been on the hunt for another striker for several weeks now. The touted fee looks to be around £5million for the 29-year-old, although some reports have suggested it may be a bit higher than that. Either way Perez is a player who has never got the chance to really impress in the Premier League, and he will be eager to prove himself on this stage after two poor years at Arsenal. With regards to Sanchez, this is a deal which has come out of the blue for the Hammers, and one that may not be too popular with fans to begin with. The Colombia international did not perform too well for Aston Villa when first introduced to the Premier League, and his performances at the World Cup hardly suggested an improvement either. However, Pellegrini has proved so far to be a brilliant spotter of talent, and Sanchez may yet come good in England.
