West Ham are expecting to sell Reece Burke to Hull City as well as part company with Josh Cullen this summer, according to a club insider.
ExWHUemployee on Twitter, who regularly shares reliable information about the comings and goings of players at the London Stadium, stated that the Hammers were hoping to pocket £500,000 by selling their two youngsters.
Reece Burke is going to leave the club for Hull City. The deal is a permanent move. He is very sad to leave. It should be completed in the next few days he is leaving the camp in Switzerland

OPINION
This is disappointing but not exactly shocking to see the Hammers sell Burke or Cullen in this window. Both were once seen as promising talents with bright futures at the club but clearly the club feel it’s time for the pair to move on. Burke has been at the club since he was a young kid and it will be nice if he tastes success with the Championship’s Hull City in the near future, if his now expected move goes through. The centre-back has managed to feature 15 times for the Hammers’ senior side and now at the age of 21-years-old needs regular football in order to kick-on in his career. As for Cullen the midfielder’s exciting reputation makes it hard to see why the club are getting rid of him. In May BBC pundit Danny Murphy in his column for the London Evening Standard claimed that Cullen was only one of five Hammers players worth keeping at the club this summer but it seems the Hammers are willing to ignore that advice. The 22-year-old midfielder should hopefully see the offers rolling in for his services as it now seems unlikely that he will be tasting first-team football under Manuel Pellegrini.
