West Ham are open to selling Cheikhou Kouyate, Pedro Obiang and Michail Antonio, according to Sky Sports.

The broadcaster claim that according to their sources the Hammers will consider offers above £15million for Antonio and are looking to get £10million for Kouyate.

Sky Sports report that there have been no offers for Kouyate as of yet but the Premier League side have rejected bids from Fiorentina and Atalanta for Obiang.

OPINION

It’s always disappointing to see certain players on the chopping block but it’s not a surprise to see these three facing an exit. Kouyate, who earns £60,000-a-week (Source: Spotrac) had a very disappointing 2017/18 campaign as he struggled to be the juggernaut that his side needed him to be in his outings. However even if he under-performed during the majority of the 37 appearances he made last season it seems harsh that the club are trying to bin him. The defensive midfielder previously flourished at the club and with new boss Manuel Pellegrini in charge it seems like the experienced manager could revive the form he first showed when he arrived at the club in 2014. Though given that there have been no offers for the midfielder even with a £10million price tag slapped on him, Pellegrini could still end up fixing Kouyate’s career. With Obiang’s price tag unknown it’s hard to know if it’s worthwhile the club selling him as the 26-year-old would provide depth when it came to Pellegrini’s midfield options. As for Antonio his exit has consistently been suggested by the media this summer and it seems that even though he has impressed Pellegrini recently, according to Sky Sports, his injury record will cause him to be forced out the club.
