West Ham have undoubtedly had the busiest transfer window out of all of the clubs in the Premier League, showing fans that they are serious about competing for higher honours in the upcoming season.

The additions of Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko, Jack Wilshere and Issa Diop – just to name a few – are the talents that the Irons’ faithful will hope propel them up the league table.

According to club insider Claret and Hugh – a reliable source of information on all things West Ham –  boss Manuel Pellegrini is seeking out one more signing in the form of a striker, in order to finally complete the side’s transfer business until January.

The striker they should be looking at is Leicester’s Ahmed Musa, who has spent the second half of the 2017/2018 campaign on loan at Russian outfit CSKA Moscow – and they must make a move for him in order to complete their triumphant summer of spending.

The Foxes have already knocked back a £12 million bid from Saudi club Al Nassr as reported by Sky Sports, but the Hammers need to test their resolve even further to land the Premier League marksman.

The 25-year-old starred for Nigeria in this summer’s World Cup, netting two goals in their group clash victory over Iceland – a display that showed off Musa’s electric pace and strength for finishing off goal opportunites.

He hasn’t had the best of times at the King Power Stadium, but a move to East London would allow him to link up with the new attacking signings – Anderson or Yarmolenko for instance – in a system that could bring the best out of him and unleash goals.

West Ham are in need of a striker and Musa would benefit with a move to the London Stadium, so it is an ideal situation for both parties.

Now Pellegrini must test their rivals’ stubbornness once again and bid to land the forward that could complete his exciting summer of spending.
