West Ham look set to announce the signing of Jack Wilshere after the player was spotted at the London Stadium wearing a Hammer shirt.
Journalist Mootaz Chehade posted the photo on Twitter in what appears to be the prelude to an official announcement to the deal – and it’s fantastic news for West Ham fans.

When Wilshere was at the peak of his game, he would have been one of the most sought-after signatures in the UK.
Injuries have put a serious brake on his career but he’s still only 26 and he comes with experience at the very highest level, with 196 games for Arsenal.
His medical at West Ham would have been massively rigorous – if he had an ongoing problem, the doctors would have found it and the deal wouldn’t have gone through.
It looks like he will be announced imminently as a West Ham player and he could be the glue that sticks together what’s set to be a new-look West Ham team next season.
He’s got everything to prove at West Ham after being shown the door at Arsenal, with Unai Emery refusing to promise him regular game time.
He’ll get that at West Ham and could well be a future captain of the club.
It’s a massively important deal and if it works out, it could be the start of something special for the Hammers and Pellegrini.
It won’t just be West Ham fans that will be watching this one closely, though.
Neutrals will be rooting for Wilshere, along with Arsenal fans… In fact it’s probably only Tottenham fans that wouldn’t want the 26-year-old to come good again.
