West Ham must win the reported race for Moussa Marega as it will cause Everton to reek of envy and see the Hammers have a potent front line.

According to Portuguese outlet CM Jornal the Hammers, the Toffees and weirdly Aston Villa are interested in the 27-year-old forward with FC Porto willing to consider offers in the region of 35 million euros (£30.9million) for their player.

The outlet’s report stats that the British clubs interested in Marega’s services are expected to make their interest in the hitman concrete within the coming days.

The Hammers need to ensure they win the player’s signature as given his prolific ability he will be a sensation in the Premier League and help fire a side up the division.

Marega scored 23 goals in 40 appearances during his 2017/18 campaign and even helped his side out further by contributing eight assists to the cause.

The 27-year-old is powerful in the air, often wins aerial duels, has a knack for dribbling past his opponents and could cause any Premier League side’s defence nightmares if unleashed upon them.

The Hammers and the Toffees are both no doubt eager to have a fantastic 2018/19 season competing in the top-half of the table after both having disappointing 2017/18 campaigns.

This desire from both could see the two Premier League sides having similar ambitions for next season and whoever manages to successfully sign Marega could end up having the edge.

The powerful forward is capable of being a difference maker due to his clinical ability and this is why it’s important that the Hammers win the £30.9million race for his services.

As whoever doesn’t get his signature could end up looking over at their PL rivals envious that they missed out on such a fantastic attacking talent.

Therefore the Hammers need to ensure they sign the 23-goal hitman this summer to see the Toffees end up reeking of envy by the time it’s all said and done.
