West Ham fans are patiently awaiting the appointment of a new manager to succeed David Moyes, before seeing who the club will target in the summer transfer window.

The new Hammers boss needs to consider adding a quality centre-forward to the ranks ahead of the 2018/19 season, as they have relied too heavily on Marko Arnautovic.

Jordan Hugill has completely flopped since his January arrival and it should be the end of the line for his first-team chances, with a loan exit or even a permanent one the best move for him in the summer.

The 25-year-old managed just three senior appearances after failing to impress Moyes and the suggestion is that he is not ready yet for top-flight football.

West Ham should plot a move to sign Andrej Kramaric from German outfit Hoffenheim and will have to beat off some reported competition.

The Chronicle reports that Newcastle United have been watching the 26-year-old, while giants Bayern Munich are also keen.

West Ham must jump to the front of the queue for the Croatia international and go all out to bring him to the London Stadium ahead of next season.

Kramaric is a marksman with deadly finishing and the centre-forward has scored some stunning goals this season.

The striker has managed 13 goals and nine assists in all competitions this campaign, helping Hoffenheim qualify for the Champions League.

He previously had a frustrating spell in England with just four goals in 20 appearances for Leicester, but he was hardly given a fair chance and supporters got to see a glimpse of his potential.

Kramaric has gone away to become a more complete attacker in Germany and would surely rip up the Premier League if he returned next summer, something that would be very much possible at West Ham.
