West Ham attacker Michail Antonio is reportedly attracting attention from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, but the club must respond by ensuring his future is at the London Stadium.

The Sun reports that Palace are lining up a summer raid for the 28-year-old and that manager Roy Hodgson views him as a prime transfer target.

It is understood that the English winger could jump at the chance to move to Selhurst Park and that his Hammers future is currently unclear.

Antonio is a speedster that is one of the elite players at West Ham on his day and he must be kept at all costs amid interest.

The right-winger, who has the versatility to play anywhere across the frontline, has become a firm favourite withs supporters since he joined in 2015 from Nottingham Forest.

However, the 2017/18 season has been turbulent for him and has been disrupted by injuries quite frequently.

The rapid attacker has scored just three goals in 22 appearances across all competitions and has been unable to hit the heights of years gone by.

Antonio should now be entering the peak of his career and West Ham would massively regret it if they allowed him to depart in the summer after a difficult campaign.

He is a powerhouse player that has proven himself to be a real handful in the Premier League and can play a huge role in helping the club fire up the table towards the European spots next year.

They need to fix up their defence with a huge overhaul in the summer, but there is definitely a huge amount of quality already in the squad in advanced positions.
