David Moyes is not the man to lead West Ham to a bright future but Fulham’s current manager Slavisa Jokanovic would be a breath of fresh air at the London Stadium.

The Telegraph reported on Tuesday that the Hammers were still uncertain about whether Moyes would stay on as the club’s manager beyond the end of this season.

The newspaper claimed that co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold were aware of fans’ unhappiness over the negative way Moyes had approached games since taking over.

The Hammers hierarchy are right to have their doubts regarding Moyes as while he has successfully saved the club from relegation this season, he’s not capable of doing much more.

West Ham are a team that should be regularly competing for a top-10 finish in the Premier League given their resources and stature, and Moyes is not good enough to deliver that type of success.

Also supporters appreciate managers who set their team up to play beautiful attacking football that will get them off their seats and unless Moyes has a personality transplant, he doesn’t fit the bill.

However luckily for Sullivan and Gold the perfect manager is staring them in the face and currently in London.

Slavisa Jokanovic has built an exciting team at Fulham that play beautiful free-flowing football, just the type that would have Hammers fans drooling, and could build just as good a team at the London Stadium.

The 49-year-old failed to win automatic promotion from the Championship with Fulham this season, they still have a chance of reaching the Premier League in the play-offs, and could be tempted with a move.

Especially if the Cottagers find themselves in England’s second-tier for yet another season.

According to the London Evening Standard, Fulham are set to open talks with Jokanovic about signing a new contract once the season is over and the Hammers must move fast to make sure the Serbian knows that they’re an option.

Therefore given the great job he has done at the Hammers’ London rivals, Fulham, Sullivan and Gold should move on from Moyes by poaching the managerial genius that is Slavisa Jokanovic from the Cottagers.
