West Ham are in the chasing pack keen on signing Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper claims in its live transfer blog (11:16pm, Wednesday 16 May) that the Hammers are interested in the 33-year-old alongside Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Watford.
It is understood that the Poland international is desperate for an exit from the Liberty Stadium this summer and has issued a come-and-get me plea.
The report details that he is keen to join a new Premier League club and wants to be a number one option.
Statistics website Spotrac claims that Fabianksi has a £50,000-a-week contract with West Ham and his current deal with them expires in 2019.
Good move for West Ham?
West Ham’s goalkeeper position has been a problem area this season and Joe Hart flopped during his loan spell with the club, while Adrian has been a mixed bag.
However, Fabianski could definitely help fix the issues going into next year and the ex-Arsenal goalkeeper is a proven talent.
He is an excellent shot-stopper that won Swansea’s Player of the Season award, but was unable to prevent their relegation to the Premier League.
The 6ft 2in colossus is a safe pair of hands in goal and would massively improve the Hammers next season.

Likely to happen?
West Ham are certainly light of a goalkeeper going into next year and are surely going to bring in a new man, but they will need to appoint a manager first.
It will be no surprise to see Fabianski back in the Premier League next season, but there is fierce competition for the in-demand ace.
