West Ham have been sucked back into the relegation fight following a 4-1 defeat against Manchester City, now sitting just three points above the relegation zone ahead of their final three games of the season.
The Hammers were forced into changes for the visit of the Premier League champions, with Joe Hart unable to feature against his parent side, and that led Adrian to occupy the spot between the sticks once again.
David Moyes now has a decision to make ahead of the trip to face Leicester City this weekend as to whether to stick with Adrian or bring Hart back into the fold, and the former told the club’s official website he’s hoping to retain his spot.
“I tried to help as many times as possible. It’s hard when you concede four goals and you can’t be happy with the result, but I’m happy to be back in the team and playing again after a few games out.”
“I will work hard to give the manager a decision for the next one and I hope I can play until the end of the season. The best thing in football is that you have another game and we have our next one on Saturday and we need to give our best.”
