West Ham handed their hopes of avoiding relegation from the Premier League a major boost last weekend, defeating Southampton 3-0, and it’s allowed David Moyes to cast on eye towards the summer market.

The Scottish boss is eyeing widespread changes to his underperforming side and, having seen loanee Joe Hart fail to impress during his spell at the club from Manchester City, landing a new goalkeeper is a priority.

A scouting trip made this week has put a new name on West Ham’s shortlist, as The Sun states the Hammers are keen on landing Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.

The 25-year-old has been a fine performer for the Cottagers this season in their promotion push and kept a clean sheet in Tuesday evening’s 2-0 victory over Leeds United under the watchful eye of Moyes himself.

Whilst Fulham are desperate to keep their in-form stopper, they will be aware that they may not have a choice this summer if they fail in their bid to secure a return to the Premier League.
