West Ham are in need of a major restructure this summer and David Moyes is preparing for exactly that, as he aims to bring in a number of new faces and also run the rule over the current squad, potentially leading to a wealth of exits.

Claret & Hugh state that as many as six first-team players could leave this summer, listing Sam Byram, Pedro Obiang, James Collins, Domingos Quina, Reece Oxford and Javier Hernandez as those potentially on the move.

Byram’s injury record and poor form this season has left his future in doubt, whilst veteran central defender Collins is rapidly approaching the end of his contract and looks extremely unlikely to be offered fresh terms.

In midfield, Obiang’s patchy form could also lead him to be surplus to requirements, whilst young duo Quina and Oxford are attracting interest from elsewhere, the latter impressing in the Bundesliga with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Finally, Mexican striker Hernandez hasn’t fully fitted into Moyes’ style of play and could be allowed to leave just one-year after his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen, which could lead to links arising within MLS once more.
