West Ham have enjoyed fine performances from Austria international Marko Arnautovic following his club-record capture from Stoke City last year and it seems the Hammers are ready to raid the Potters once again.

Calcio Mercato state David Moyes’ side are looking to take advantage of Stoke’s precarious position inside the relegation zone with a swoop for Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri if the Staffordshire side fail to avoid the drop.

Currently sat five points from safety with just four matches to play, Stoke are at serious risk of relegation to the Championship for the first time since their rise to the Premier League a decade ago.

Everton and Crystal Palace are also keen on the services of the 26-year-old, who is valued at £16.2m by TransferMarkt.

Should the Potters suffer relegation, Shaqiri will certainly be on the move away from the club and has the opportunity to raise interest in his signature further at this summer’s World Cup, where Switzerland clash with Serbia, Costa Rica and Brazil.
